Synopsis :
My friend Michael has been assassinated when I was 19 years old. I was deeply in Love with him. After he got his high school diploma, Michi wanted to make a trip in Latin America in order to meet native people. He went into the jungle in Peru and has been killed there.

Aline Fischer is Alsatian. She works in Berlin, Paris and Strasbourg.
She completed her directorial diploma at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf in Potsdam, Germany.
Her feature-length fiction film METEOR STREET (METEORSTRASSE) (Germany 84’ Prod: Credo:Film / Medienboard Berlin Brandenburg / rbb) had its World premiere at Berlinale 2016 (Generation 14 Plus / Opening Film of Perspektive Deutsches Kino), was nominated for Best First Feature Film Award in Berlin, selected in 40 Festivals (Rotterdam, Sao Paulo, Morelia, Durban, Stockholm, Hong Kong, Rabat) and won internationally several awards.

She graduated in Political Science, concluded a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s in Documentary directing in Lussas, France. From 2002 to 2010 she worked with Fix Punkt e.V Berlin on board mobile buses to provide needle exchange programme to intravenous drug users.

In 2007-20010 she was assistant of German Filmmaker Gerd Kroske, former DEFA Director and of Anne Philippe, Architect & Filmmaker who worked on the outer suburbs of Paris. 2009, she is in charge to make a film about the event „Festival des jardins de Stolac“ in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the archives of the Centre André Malraux in Sarajevo (Dir. Francis Bueb).

2010, she documents in Ukraine the campaign YOUTH MOVES EUROPE, (Association Forum für Europäische Begegnungen e.V). She goes with her camera across the country (Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Luhansk Region, Kyiv). 2010 she presented with the CNC and the “Louis Lumière program” (Villa Médicis Hors les murs/MAE) her documentary debut THE WILD WEST (57' prod: Bellota Films) shot in Poland.

In 2012 she was elected for the Grant Program “Deutschlandstipendium” (Federal Ministry of Education and Research), went for several trips to Jenin to the Freedom Theater founded by Juliano Mer Khamis and did a Masterclass with Director Albert Maysles at the Sapir College of Sderot in Israel.

She directed the Essay Film DER GRÜNE STERN (THE GREEN STAR) (51', Development Award at the Film School’s Reception - Berlinale 2012, Competition Festival Max Ophüls Prize, Dok.Fest Munich 2014). Her first short movie MAIK (Fiction 25 min) is selected in 2013 for Belo Horizonte International Short Film Festival, Rome Independent Film Festival, Beijing Film Academy & Bangkok International Student Film Festival.

2018 she was Director Assistant of Award-Winning Filmmaker Rabah Ameur-Zaïmeche, worked for Trumpetist Erik Truffaz and shot the short FLEEING IN EUROPE (Germany 13’, Prod: Sperl Film - co-produced by ARTE & ZDF das kleine Fernsehspiel – The Love Europe project // Adolf- GRIMME Prize 2020).

2019 she is Assistant of German Filmmaker Frido Feindt, Script Development Advisor for the French-German Residency Wos Talent Lab of Festival War on Screen (WoS Talent Lab joins forces with two European film schools, the Fémis in France and Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf in Germany), works for F 93 - an association for scientific and technical culture – and conducts film workshops in Departement Seine-St-denis in special need educational division She works on a documentary about Street Theater Shows and is co-writer of a German-French Serie project.
