How Performance Art Is Experienced and Shared

What is public art?

Folkestone artist Diane Dever talks about her work that focuses on involving local people — reimagining the Harbour Arm and Folkestone town so residents can take part in shaping local change. As a co-founder of Folkestone Fringe, Dever creates events and projects that transform public spaces, including festivals, live art, and performances.

In this discussion, Fari Bradley — artist and broadcaster — talks with Dever about her approach, alongside her own experience making performance-based and community-focused art connected to urban regeneration.

This talk is part of the Strangelove time-based media festival and will be recorded for later broadcast and podcast on Resonance104.4FM.
