Daughter Of the Baltic Sea (2020) Eléonore Berrubé
Anastasia is a Russian women, born in the ashes of the Soviet Union and in the early days of internet. She has lived in France for several years. As her father has suddenly died, Anastasia feels the urge to find her place, somewhere, in this new reality.
Eléonore Berrubé is a french author, director and photographer born in 1990. She works as a set photographer (Jessica Forever), exhibits and publishes her photographs. Her graduation film All the colors of the night (Côté Court, Un festival c'est trop court, Marfa Film Festival 2016) is produced by the Groupe de Recherche et d'Essais Cinématographiques. She directed a medium-length documentary Daughter of the Baltic Sea (Brive Film Festival, Côté Court 2021) supported by the Brouillon d'un rêve grant and then worked with Anton Bialas on the film Groupe Merle Noir (Visions du réel, Brive Film Festival, Côté Court 2021), within the production structure Hôtel Experimenta that she co-founded in 2018. Her third film Dĭēs, poèmes apocalyptiques is an hybrid experimental film, between documentary and performance, which she is currently directing and producing alongside the company Providences.
