Emotional Distancing

Conceived and filmed in a time of isolation and lockdown, this piece remembers how we can unintentionally distance ourselves within relationships due to our actions, pride and selfishness. How sometimes we need to make the effort to go the distance and close these gaps in order to be reunited. Using the familiar visual layout of a Zoom call, which now many performances have adapted to and toyed with, this piece plays with convention and boundaries.
